In a Nutshell

• Iconic, sumptuous, 30 bedroomed independent hotel, with a rosetted 60 cover restaurant and multiple food outlets including an in-house spa, looking for an ambitious CDP who has an aspiration to work in a kitchen with at least two rosette level. Hotel extremely well financed, with plans for development/ expansion of current facilities.

The Role

• Assisting the Sous Chef and Head Chef in the preparation of the food to maintain and further the reputation of the restaurant as one of North Yorkshire’s true food destinations
• Responsible for sections as required 
• Working with the freshest of local ingredients

You

• Aspiring Chef de Partie looking for a kitchen where you can develop your skills
• Strong background in the basics and an ambition to be the best
• Proven record at Chef de Partie level in a kitchen of equal standing
• An ability for problem solving and looking at things from a creative point of view

• Salary £24,000 + Gratuity
• Five day working week
• Same two days off each week
• All O/T paid
